Es un d\u00eda para ponerle nombre al miedo, al dolor y a la esperanza. Para entender que no estamos solos y comprender que pedir ayuda no es un signo de debilidad, sino de valent\u00eda. Recordamos que sin salud mental, no hay salud completa, y que cada persona, sin importar su edad o historia, merece ser escuchada, respetada y acompa\u00f1ada. Porque cuidar la mente es cuidar la vida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Este a\u00f1o hablamos del acceso a servicios de salud mental en cat\u00e1strofes y emergencias<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Para 2025, la campa\u00f1a internacional gira en torno a la urgencia de garantizar acceso a los servicios de salud mental en situaciones de crisis, como desastres, conflictos o emergencias humanitarias. El \u00e9nfasis est\u00e1 en que durante estas circunstancias tan vulnerables, muchas personas experimentan angustia, traumas y rupturas sociales, y los sistemas de salud deben estar preparados para responder de forma r\u00e1pida y compasiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este enfoque plantea que no basta con reconstruir infraestructuras f\u00edsicas tras una crisis, sino tambi\u00e9n acompa\u00f1ar el tejido social y mental: promover intervenciones psicosociales comunitarias, reforzar la coordinaci\u00f3n entre servicios de salud y protecci\u00f3n social, y priorizar grupos especialmente vulnerables.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La importancia en el adulto mayor<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando hablamos del bienestar mental en la adultez mayor, es esencial tener en cuenta:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Mayor vulnerabilidad ante crisis<\/strong>: los adultos mayores pueden enfrentar barreras adicionales como movilidad reducida, p\u00e9rdida de redes de apoyo o dificultades de comunicaci\u00f3n, lo que aumenta el riesgo de deterioro emocional.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Necesidad de acceso a servicios adaptados<\/strong>: los servicios deben considerar las particularidades de la vejez, como la atenci\u00f3n domiciliaria, el acompa\u00f1amiento en duelos o la adaptaci\u00f3n de terapias.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Atenci\u00f3n del duelo y p\u00e9rdidas<\/strong>: en la vejez es com\u00fan enfrentar m\u00faltiples duelos, que en contextos de emergencia pueden intensificarse o quedar sin resoluci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fortalecimiento de la resiliencia comunitaria<\/strong>: redes vecinales, grupos de apoyo y espacios seguros de escucha son claves para el bienestar emocional.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Prevenci\u00f3n del estigma y sensibilizaci\u00f3n intergeneracional<\/strong>: es vital educar para que se reconozca que los adultos mayores tambi\u00e9n merecen cuidado emocional y que los trastornos mentales no son una consecuencia natural del envejecimiento.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Monitoreo y continuidad del acompa\u00f1amiento<\/strong>: las secuelas emocionales pueden persistir en el tiempo, por lo que los sistemas de salud deben planificar seguimientos a mediano y largo plazo.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sentirte bien no solo depende de tu salud f\u00edsica, sino de c\u00f3mo te acompa\u00f1an en cada paso.
